Well hello guys! I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to write about my vacation or not, but since we have a 5 hour drive to Branson, I decided I could make time.

We actually have about 2 1/2 hours to go before we reach Branson, but I wanna tell about my time in New Madrid.

New Madrid, if you didn’t know, is a little town in Missouri. I’m not talking about the famous New Madrid, far different. New Madrid is this little farm town, like I said, near the bottom of Missouri. I’m on vacation w/ Caroline & she has family there. On Friday we drove there & we stayed at her Grandma’s & some of her family came over & stayed, too. Her house was absolutely beautiful, it felt so homey, i didnt want to leave. I absolutely love her family. Her aunt has a brand new baby, less than a month old & she also has a nearly 2 yr old girl. They are the sweetest kids. I loved everyone’s country twang, I even started to get a very very fair twang whilst w/ them. There wasn’t anything to do, really, while we were there. We ended up having a total lazy day yesterday. We slept most the day & it was quite enjoyable.!

Yesterday after Caroline & I took our two hour nap, I woke up & the first thing I thought ‘i want cookies’ I turned to Caroline & told her. We actually ended up making Ty-die cupcakes & Apple Crisp. It was so much fun.! I’ll put some pictures up later.

Now, we’re on our way to Branson. I’ve never been, so it’ll be a new experience for me. Well, that’s all for now.
